Dinner: J made skirt steak tacos that were out of this world. He used a recipe he saw in Men’s Health for Carne Asada that is simple, yet better than any complicated recipe we’ve ever tried. Marinate the skirt steak (or whatever cut you choose) in lemon juice, water, garlic powder and salt for a few hours. Then, grill it. Ta-da!
To go with the meat, he grilled some onions rubbed with a seasoning mix we made from a Bobby Flay recipe, fresh avocados, Frontera salsa and flour tortillas.
J declared it the best taco night ever. I love taco night.
